Job Overview:

Robert Half is seeking an experienced Business Analyst who can work hand-in-hand with high-level stakeholders and Software Development teams (.Net). The successful applicant will collaborate with decision-makers, system owners, and end-users to define business, operational, and system goals and requirements. Then will be responsible for translating the business needs into software solutions with our current programs, projects, and initiatives in mind. We do not utilize Scrum, we’re primarily Waterfall based, and do not yet use Project Management Software. Ideal keys to the role below:

  • Work Breakdown (Tracking project process/bottlenecks/timelines/roadblocks)
  • Waterfall (80%) / Agile (20%)
  • Requirement Gathering
  • Must have experience working with .Net Development teams

Responsibilities and Duties:

·     Key Responsibilities:

  • Become an expert in our proprietary software systems developed by our in-house IT staff
  • Participate in technical and user interface prototyping
  • Interviewing technical and business representatives to clarify requirements
  • Assist developers and other analysts in solution design, and ensure the integrity of the application solution through design reviews
  • Work with business representatives to solve day to day issues related to software programs
  • Assume responsibility for project tasks and ensure they are completed in a timely fashion
  • Evaluate, test, and recommend new opportunities for enhancing our software, hardware, and IT processes
  • Consult with the executive team and the IT department on the newest technology and its implications in the industry

Qualifications:

·     

  • Minimum of 5 years of Business Analyst information technology experience
  • Experience working with SQL and relational databases is a must
  • In-depth understanding of organizational data flow and its use in management decision-making
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working on a team, leading and facilitating
  • Provide systematic and dependable follow up, as well as a high level of organization and preparedness
  • Maintain confidentiality and use a high degree of discretion
  • Great analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
  • Superior presentation and negotiation skills
  • Proven management and organizational skills
  • Strong adaptability and capacity to work in fast-paced environments
